The comic strip has been brought to knowledge of the general public especially by the Anglo-Saxon press, and works such as Peanuts, Calvin & Hobbes Doonesbury or have already achieved literary and journalistic dignity.

In the world of Italian comics, in addition to the cartoon and graphic novel, the production quality of this kind and this dense collection aims to present to the reader.
stRRRippit! volumone is an anthology, two hundred and forty pages that collect all twelve authors, of different ages, styles and content. In the group include partnerships with major newspapers and homes Publishing and also attending the intensive websites.
" (...) The strip, by its nature has a life of fun, but fulminant shorter than that of butterflies. It looks here and there, lost in the days and at different times, spread over different sheets and now in the Internet age, even on web pages. Among news, articles, advertising, tears a smile to the reader, brings him back in time for a sigh to a small and familiar parallel universe. Distorts reality and plays a bit 'up, offers a reflection, distracted with a new gag, a new point of view. But then undergoes the end pieces of paper on which it rested: in baskets, flowers to involve at best, in some stream of maceration and recycling. Scattered, dispersed, perhaps destined to oblivion, it is their destiny. It takes passion and love to bring them back together and give them the noble life of the collections.
